I am sorry for my absence. I have not had the time or energy to devote to this blog in several years. I have been very busy with many things, among them was working full time for the first time in years and also helping to develop the Texas high school American Indian/Native Studies course. I am one of the primary authors of the course and teacher materials and the author of the custom student materials for the course. Our team has also been fighting an uphill battle against the SBOE to get the course approved as a state TEKS course.
I am now in a place where I can put time into this blog again. I am now a substitute teacher for a local district and plan to get my Texas teacher certification to become a full-time teacher. I still plan to continue teaching online as well.
So look for new content! I am currently working on a review of a curriculum I have addressed before but only posted one grade level. I have several curricula and educational resources that I would like to address on here, especially as they become more popular. Feel free to request a review of curricula, books, or educational resources.
